Byron Posselt

Byron is an Employment Advisor in the employment law team at DTI Lawyers. He assists clients with practical advice across a range of workplace matters, including disciplinary processes and general employment queries.

Before joining DTI, Byron worked as a Legal Advocate for a professional association, preparing written opinions, advising on employment issues, and supporting members through disciplinary and contractual processes. He has been involved in both the preparation and active negotiation of multiple collective agreements. Byron has also taught at the University of Waikato’s Faculty of Law as an Academic Assistant, delivering classes and providing academic support to students.

Byron brings with him strong experience in people-focused roles enabling him to work calmly and clearly with clients and to support them through difficult or complex situations.

Byron holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Waikato.
